Disaster Aid Canada aims to provide aid in response to devastating disasters all over the world. We help individuals and communities who have been displaced by natural disasters. To recognize World Refugee Day for 2026, we have created a campaign that will help ensure those who are forced from their homes are equipped for daily living, supplies to keep them safe and protected.
With our Disaster Aid International partners and collaborating Rotary Clubs internationally, we ensure funds are sent for the immediate needs of displaced people.
We continue to monitor Refugee campaign initiatives and update our donors on the impact of their generous donations.
The situation in Lebanon continues to worsen as people are forced from their homes and lands with only what they can carry. Families, children, and the elderly are given as little as a 5-minute warning to take what little supplies they have and have to flee to primarily public schools for shelter. These schools are not equipped or designed for daily living, and there is much need for supplies to keep them safe and protected from upcoming winter conditions. Disaster Aid International partners are collaborating with Rotary Clubs in Lebanon to ensure funds are sent for the immediate needs of the displaced Lebanese people.
