Tents are Going Up
This is where your donation dollars are going! While Disaster Relief usually comes, it often comes too little too late or too much but not relevant.
Our Disaster Aid Canada tents are on the ground, our bed packs are being used and our hygiene products will help along with the water purification systems set up by Rotarians. Rotary Clubs in the Bahamas are working with Disaster Aid Response Teams from DAUSA and are helping put up the shelters and handing out materials. We work in collaboration and the spirit of Rotary.
We brought what we were asked for not what we thought might be useful. After Disasters many countries are not only left to clean up the mess from the disaster but the tons upon tons of materials that were dropped off but not needed.
